We are a locally owned-family run business, not a chain or a franchise.
Business owner Kara O'Rourke is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management. After years in the Food & Beverage, Service, Retail and Mortgage Industries, Kara has brought her love of helping people to Tanorama.

She loves sports, fitness, travel, "the beach", and her Mary Kay business.
Business partner and husband Michael O'Rourke is a graduate of Madison University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He has had a successful career in the Service & Retail business and brings a strong background in training, management and customer satisfaction. Michael is also a Trainer with the American Tanning Institute that trains all tanning salon operators and employees in New Hampshire. He is a huge fan of all sports and still plays competative softball. You'll usually see him fixing something in our salon or driving Kara crazy.
All of our staff are highly trained and certified in industry standards and operations with either the American Tanning Institute or SmartTan of America.
